Sundar Gutka (Damdami Taksal) is a comprehensive collection of Gurbani (Sikh Prayers) that includes the Damdami Taksal Sundar Gutka, Nitnem Gutka, and more. The Bani in this app has been diligently reviewed by scholars of the Taksal.
This app is compatible with both phones and tablets, and it boasts a remarkably small download size of less than 3MB.
The inclusion of color-coded Vishraams (pauses) enhances the user experience. These Vishraams are indicated by orange for long pauses and green for short pauses. The addition of Vishraams and the proofreading of Bani was performed by Baba Darshan Singh (Mallehwal), a disciple of Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji (Bhindranwale).
It's important to note that this app contains Dasam Bani (Bani of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj). As Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale has stated, it is not recommended for the fearful.
The app includes Bani from the Damdami Taksal Gutka (Prayer Book), such as Japji Sahib, Jaap Sahib, Tav Prasad Swayay, Chaupai Sahib, Anand Sahib, Rehras Sahib, Kirtan Sohila, Sukhmani Sahib, and Asa Di Vaar.
Additionally, Gurbani from the Khalsa Sundar Gutka (Budda Dal) is included, featuring Rehras, Aarti Aarta, Ardas, Chandi Charitar Ustat, Slok Dumally Da (full version), Brahm Kavach, Bhagauti Ustotar, Ugardanti, Karni Nama, Shastar Naam Mala, Khalsa Mool Mantar, and Khalsa Rehitnama.
The app also presents Bani from the Hazuri Das Granthi (prepared by Giani Hardeep Singh, former Head Granthi of Takhat Sri Hazur Sahib and student of Sant Kartar Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale). This includes Akal Ustat, Bachittar Natak, Chandi Charittar, Chandi Di Vaar, Gian Parbodh, Khalsa Mehma, 33 Swayay, 16 Swayay, Barah Maha (Dasam Granth), Rehras, Aarti, and Sohila.
Notable features of this app include color-coded Vishraams, the ability to change text alignment, the Lareevar option, adjustable font size and font options, Bani readings in Hindi, background color customization, indexed for quick scrolling, custom bookmarking functionality, full-screen mode, customizable list options, and the ability to rearrange Bani.
As a bonus feature, this app includes the Mool Mantar by Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.
